Creating a sanctuary owned by our community

We are a community led conservation project in the Eastern Bay of Plenty aiming to
create an unfenced sanctuary in the heart of Whakatāne.

HALO is founded on the premise of Kotahitanga - that more can be achieved together than apart.
Supported by a dedicated group of volunteers, we are involved in a variety of exciting projects throughout Whakatāne.
