Upcoming Event! HALO Whakatane is partnering up with Coast Care, Pest Free Ohope Spit Caregroup, and the Shorebird volunteers to clear invasive lupins from the Ohope Spit.

This weeding will enable the Shorebird volunteers to more effectively service their trap and baitlines - which protect our wonderful native shore birds and plants.

We would love to see you there!

Please bring: loppers, gardening gloves, water, hats, long pants.

Meeting location: Ohope International Golf Club - Caretakers shed (follow the dirt road up).
