There’s always more weeds to chop! HALO Whakatane is partnering up with Coast Care, Pest Free Ohope Spit Care Group, and the Shorebird Volunteers to clear invasive lupins and wattle from the Ohope Spit. This time we will be working on the southern end of the spit.

We would love to see you there!

Please bring: sunblock, loppers, gardening gloves, water, hats, long pants.

Meeting location: At the road end, past the boat ramp, southern end of the golf course.
